Dr. Lela Bakanidze is currently working as a professor and as Vice - President at Georgian Biosafety Association. Her PhD was on morphogenesis in mixed infections. She was the head for the department of Biosafety and Bioterrorism Threat Reduction, Deputy Head of the Department of Especially Dangerous Infections.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Lela Bakanidze research is mainly focused on Biosafety, Bioterrorism and Biodefence, Biocontainment Facilities, Biohazard Risk assessment.
