BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Osman Balci is Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Mobile/Cloud Software Engineering Lab at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from BoÄŸaziçi University; M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Syracuse University. He received many award and honors. He is a member of professional societies; Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Society for Modeling and Simulation International, etc. He has numerous publications and he is also acting as editorial board member and reviewer for peer reviewed journals.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Osman Balci’s research interests includes Software Engineering: iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) Mobile Software Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, Architecting Cloud Software-based System of Systems and Software/System Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Modeling and Simulation: Methodology, Verification, Validation, and Certification and Digital Game-Based Learning: Digital Educational Game Development Methodology, Digital Educational Game Quality Evaluation
