BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Bakhtiar Affendi Rosdi is currently working as Senior Lecturer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He completed his Doctor of Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2007. Prior to joining the university, he worked as an engineer at Showa Denko (M) Sdn. Bhd. for almost four years. He has many publications. He has served as a reviewer to a few international conferences and journals including Sensors, Information Sciences and Image and Vision Computing.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Bakhtiar Affendi Rosdi’s research area focuses on the application of Pattern recognition in Biometrics and Bioinformatics applications. Currently, he has two main projects, which are: Finger based biometric system and prediction of antimicrobial peptide.
