BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Craig S. Atwood is presently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Western Australia. He has published over 200 research articles and has received a number of research and teaching awards. He is a member of many professional societies and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for numerous peer reviewed journals.



RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Craig S. Atwood’s research interest includes Hormonal Regulation of Alzheimer's Disease, Embryogenesis, and Aging and Reproduction, Autocrine/Paracrine Mechanisms of LH and Neurosteroid Production in the Brain, Amyloid Biology and Hypoxia, and the Metallobiochemistry of the Brain.
