Dr. Dong-ik Kim is currently working as a Professor in the School of Medicine at Sungkyunkwan University and he is the Chief of Vascular Surgery Division at Samsung Medical Center. He received PhD from Hanyang University. He is a member of many professional societies and Editorial Board member of peer reviewed journals. He has numerous publications in national and international journals.



RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Dong-ik Kim’s research interests include Therapeutic angiogenesis using stem cell, Tissue engineering of vascular prosthetic graft, Pathogenesis of intimal hyperplasia, Pathogenesis of thrombosis, Pathogenesis of Buerger's disease and Pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.
