BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Marc G. Sturgill joined the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in July 1992, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in July 1998, and was appointed Department Chair in October 2013. He received a New Investigator Grant from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy in November 1994, and was the recipient of the Roche Laboratories Clinical Preceptor of the Year Award in May 2001, and the William and Helen Levine Teacher of the Year Award in May 2003, May 2004, and May 2006. He was appointed to the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy in March 2005. He published various articles in international journals.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Marc G. Sturgill clinical research interests include the effects of age, disease, and xenobiotics on drug pharmacokinetics, in particular the activity of human drug metabolizing enzymes, protocol design, regulatory and IRB approval, pharmacokinetic modeling, statistical analysis, and adverse event reporting.
