BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Gyorgy Nagy is currently an associate professor in the Department of Rheumatology and Genetics, Cell and Immunobiology, Semmelweis University, Budapest. He was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Rheumatology State University of New York, Syracuse, USA from 2001 to 2003, and a resident and research fellow in the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine, Semmelweis University, Budapest.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Gyorgy Nagy’s research interests focus on molecular mechanisms of autoimmune diseases, with a special interest in the role of nitric oxide and reactive oxygen intermediates in disease. He also studies the role of microparticles in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune diseases.
