Dr. Zubair M Ahmed is presently working as an Associate professor of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at University of Maryland, United States. He has a membership in professional societies. He has earned several national and international awards. He has been continuously funded as a principal investigateor since 2007. He is acting as an Editorial Member and peer reviewer for many Journals. He has many publications.

Dr. Zubair M Ahmed’s research interests include:
Functional analysis of the newly identified genes associated with deaf-blindness and OCA promises new insights into the molecular mechanisms of vision and auditory development and functions and will facilitate the rational design of potential therapies.
