BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Nashiru Billa currently the Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Science and the Chair of the Faculty’s Research Committee. Nashiru Billa graduated with a BPharm (Hons) from the University of the Punjab in 1993. In 2000 he was appointed as a Lecturer at the International Medical University and also the Chief Scientist of a Bioequivalence Centre (Equilab), which helped him to set up and led several bioequivalence studies. In 2005 he joined The University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus and in 2007 was promoted as Associate Professor. He authored/co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and serve as a reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed journals.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Nashiru Billa research is mainly focused on formulation of nanoparticulate dosage forms and characterisation of the same through gastrointestinal transit monitoring and pharmacokinetic studies.
