BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Zhiye Du is an Associate Professor at the Musculoskeletal Tumor Center of Peking University People’s Hospital in Beijing, China. He earned his M.D. degree in 2006 and completed his Ph.D. in Orthopedic Surgery in 2009 from the prestigious Medical College of Peking University Health Science Center. Mentored by the renowned Professor Guo Wei, Dr. Du has since built an extensive career in orthopedic oncology, advancing from resident physician to associate chief physician. Specializing in primary bone tumors, bone metastases, and minimally invasive and image-guided surgical techniques, Dr. Du's research spans several key areas. His expertise includes limb and spinal tumor surgery, 3D printing for bone reconstruction, and adolescent limb salvage treatments. He has published over 20 influential peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals such as Journal of Arthroplasty, Bone & Joint Journal, and European Spine Journal, many as first author. Dr. Du also contributes to the advancement of orthopedic oncology through his role in multi-institutional studies and as a member of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association Bone Oncology Group. His work continues to focus on improving surgical outcomes and advancing reconstruction techniques for complex bone tumors. He is an active scholar with professional profiles on platforms including ORCID and Google Scholar, maintaining a strong presence in the global research community.
