BIOGRAPHY:
Professor Julio Arboleda-Flórez is a Canadian, born in Colombia. His basic medical degree is from Universidad Nacional of Colombia in Bogotá. He graduated in Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa, in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and in Epidemiology (PhD) at the University of Calgary. He is Fellow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Diploma of the American Board of Forensic Psychiatry and Diplôme de Langue Française - École Internationale de Langue et Civilization Françaises (Paris). He is an Emeritus American College of Psychiatrists; Distinguished Fellow Canadian Psychiatric Association; Distinguished Life Fellow American Psychiatric Association; Fellow American College of Forensic Psychiatry, American Board of Forensic Examiners, and Royal Society of Medicine; Honorary Fellow World Association of Social Psychiatry, Member World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and Asociación Ecuatoriana de Psiquiatría; Member Emeritus, Forensic Department, Associaõ Brasileira de Psiquiatria; Honorary Life President Forensic Section WPA; Rectoral Medal and Honorary Professor Universidad de Chile; Visiting Professor, Universidad del Bosque (Bogotá) and Adjunct Professor at University of Ottawa.
