Dr. Insop Shim is presently working as professor in the Department of Medical Science, College of Korean Medicine at Kyung Hee University, South Korea. He obtained his Ph.D from the University of Illinois. He has authored several articles and book chapters. He is a member of many professional societies.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Insop Shim’s research interest includes Neural mechanisms underlying stress response; Behavioral neuroscience; Neural mechanisms of drugs of abuse, motivational behaviors; Neurodegenerative diseases; Parkinson' disease, Alzeheimer, Ischemia Learning and Memory; Functional Neuroanatomy and Development of new drugs or stem cells for neurodegenerative diseases.
