He is a Senior Consultant & Head of Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery and Department of Surgery at National University Hospital. He is a member in various international committees. He received a Prestigious Award (Institute of Engineers, Singapore) (2005) for Development of the Bioresorbable devices in Skeletal reconstruction.
