Dr. Aaron P. Thrift is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Duncan Cancer Center Department of medicine at Gastroenterology Section at University of Baylor College of Medicine, USA. His Ph.D is completed from The University of Queensland, Australia. He has been honored with Dean’s Commendation, University of Southern Queensland and Faculty of Science Medal, University of Southern Queensland. He also had membership in American Association for Cancer Research, Barrett’s and Esophageal Adenocarcinoma Consortium, Society for Epidemiologic Research, Statistical Society of Australia, The Australian Society for Medical Research and The European Association for Cancer Research. He had published almost 24 publications in his name. 

His research interest includes Barrett’s esophagus, Esophageal adenocarcinoma, Epidemiology and outcomes of digestive disorders, Genetic epidemiology, Risk prediction and Screening and surveillance of GI cancers.
