Dr. Seham Bassyouni M. Tayel is currently working as a Professor of Prosthetic Dentistry at Alexandria University. She has 30 years of teaching experience. She attended many conferences and received numerous certifications. She has various publications.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Seham Bassyouni M. Tayel’s research interests include:
- Nano-coating of prosthetic materials
- Surface characterization of denture base materials
- Denture base reinforcement
- Using implants to treat oral diseases, testing new systems, materials and techniques and improving outcomes of treatment
- Tissue engineering for treatment of oral diseases ,filling defects & substituting oral tissues lost due to trauma, infection
- New disinfection & sterilization methods
- New technology for treatment of oral diseases including nano technology, laser applications, ozone
