BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Makobetsa Khati is currently working as Head of the Emerging Health Technologies Department at CSIR Biosciences. He is also an Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital and the University of Cape Town. He has eight patents and received many awards in his career. He published various articles in international journals. 

 



RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Dr. Makobetsa Khati research is mainly focused on HIV-host pathogen interaction with a view to develop novel ways to prevent HIV infection and also to develop point-of-care diagnostics.
