Dr. Ahmed S. Zidan is currently working as an associate professor of pharmaceutics and industrial pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University and as Associate Professor of pharmaceutics and industrial pharmacy at Zagazig University. He worked as assistant professor at Faculty of pharmacy, Misr International University (2007-8). He completed his PhD at Zagazig University (2007). He received many awards in his career. He published many articles in international journals. 

Dr. Ahmed S. Zidan research is mainly focused on Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics modeling including compartmental and non-compartmental modeling and pharmacokinetic simulations, Development and validation of different GC and HPLC analytical and bioanalytical procedures, Formulation and design of drug delivery solid dosage forms, Colloidal drug delivery systems, Spray and fluidized bed technologies, Liposomal and niosomal drug delivery systems, Protein characterization, Microencapsulation, Solid dispersions and inclusion complexes, Cell culturing and Caco-2 cell investigations, Accelerated and long term stability studies, Self nanoemulsified drug delivery systems, Design of Experiments.
