Dr. Bruce D Cheson is Professor of Medicine, Head of Hematology and Deputy Chief, Hematology-Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, USA and Fellowship Director of the Medstar and GUH.  He has almost 40 years of experience in the field of Hematology and has funding support for his research. Most recently, he was Head of the Medicine Section of the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Investigations Branch within the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program, and senior staff physician at the NCI's Lymphoma Clinic. Prior to that, he was assistant professor of medicine in hematology/oncology at the University of Utah. He is also acting as Editor and Reviewer for various International journals. He also acts as Principal Investigator on Studies like Ofatumumab and Bendamustine in previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukemia/Small cell lymphoctic lymphoma; Phase I Clinical trial of bendamustine, lenalidomide and rituximab in B-cell lymphoid malignancies; Prospective, longitudinal, multinational registry of patients with newly diagnosed peripheral T-Cell lymphoma and many more. Recently, he has been honored with Leading Oncologists of the World in 2015 by the International Association of Oncologists, Best Doctors in America in 2014, America’s Top Physicians for Cancer in 2013, Lymphoma Research Foundation Distinguished Achievement Award (with Christine Cheson) in 2013. He is a member of various National and International Committee’s. He has published more than 300 publications in various International journals, 5 Books, 65 Book chapters, more than 40 editorial/commentaries, more than 270 abstracts and 380 presentations at various International Conferences.

Dr. Bruce D Cheson clinical interests focus on the development and evaluation of new therapeutic approaches for hematologic malignancies.
