BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Richard John Cure is presently an Associate Professor at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, England and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Orthodontics and recently completed his PhD in interprofessional education (IPE) of the orthodontic team. He is Head of Dentistry Studies and Course Director of Orthodontics at University of Warwick and visiting lecturer to various University undergraduate, vocational training and postgraduate groups in the UK and abroad. He was granted a Winston Churchill Travel Fellowship in 1994 in recognition of research work into the Management of patients with Cleft Lip and Palate. He is an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a member of the Orthodontic Specialists Group of The British Orthodontic Society, The American Association of Orthodontists, The World Federation of Orthodontists, British Lingual Orthodontic Society, British Dental Association, and Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK). He originally conceptualized and developed the MSc in Orthodontics course at The University of Warwick, which he continues to evolve and improve, together with Orthodontic Therapist and Orthodontic Nurse education and qualifications. His Specialist Practice has achieved the British Dental Association Good Practice award, Investors in People recognition and is a University approved outreach training center. Richard has a full commitment to continuing education, training and development for the whole dental team.

Dr. Richard John Cure's research interests include Orthodontics and Interprofessional Education (IPE).
