Clinical and Experimental Research in Cardiology

Marion Hofmann Bowman is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. She is a physician scientist at the University of Chicago and is interested in vascular inflammation. Clinically, Dr. Hofmann is a member of the "Aortic Center" at the University of Chicago and provides care for patients with thoracic aortic aneurysms and bicuspid aortic valve.

Marion Hofmann Bowman clinical interest is in bicuspid aortic valve, as this is a common congenital heart disease and often associated with calcific aortic valve disease and thoracic aortic aneurysms.
