BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Ajmer Singh Grewal, M.Pharm., Ph.D., is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamunanagar, Haryana, India. With over 13 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Grewal specializes in medicinal chemistry, computational drug design, and pharmaceutical analysis.
He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a focus on the Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of Newer Glucokinase Activators. His expertise spans computational chemistry, chemoinformatics, molecular modeling, and structure-based drug design, using advanced tools such as AutoDock, MOE, PyMOL, SwissADME, and Schrodinger Suite.
Dr. Grewal has published extensively in reputed journals, accumulating over 3,200 citations, an h-index of 23, and a cumulative impact factor of 175. Beyond research, he actively contributes to academic quality assurance through NAAC and NBA accreditation processes and the development of skill-based courses for pharmacy students.
