RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Chantal Tallaksen's research interests are currently primarily hereditary rare neurodegenerative disorders. Most of my studies have concerned hereditary ataxias and spastic paraplegia. Her clinical work involves most hereditary neurological disorders (neuropathies, myopathies, etc). In addition neuromuscular disease, particularly myasthenia gravis (epidemiology, clinical aspects, immunogenetic aspects). Dr. Chantal Tallaksen is still interested in nutrition role in disease etiology, have mostly worked with thiamin and disease.
