BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Shahzad Shaukat is serving as a Molecular Biologist in WHO RRL for PEI, Department of Virology, National Institute of Health, Islamabad, Pakistan. He received his doctorate degree in biotechnology from Quaid-e-Azam University, Pakistan. He has several publications in the field of picornaviruses, hepatitis, Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever virus, Dengue virus, influenza and human genetics that have been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. His main interests include Virology, Infectious Diseases, Public Health and Epidemiology.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Shahzad Shaukat research interests include Picornaviruses, Infectious Viral Diseases, Emerging and Re-emerging Viral Diseases, Epidemiology of viruses, Virus evolutionary-informatics
