Dr. Sayed M. Hassan is presently working as Senior Research Scientist and Director at CAIS Lab. for Environmental Analysis in The University of Georgia at the United States. He has joined CAIS in 2015, and has over 40 years of experience in analytical research in both Egypt and the United States. He has spent 20 years teaching both Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis to graduate and undergraduate students at University of Mansoura, Mansoura, Egypt. During that time, he also worked as a part-time consultant at the National Organization for Drug Control and Research and Kahira Pharmaceutical Company in Cairo, Egypt, where his research focused on pharmaceutical analysis and drug control, with special interest in stability indicating methods and functional group analysis. He is also worked as Professor and Head in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy in the University of Mansoura, Egypt. Recently, he has received a grant from US National Park Service on a title entitled “Multi-element Chemical Analysis on Slave Village Soils at Cumberland Island National Seashore, 2017 – 2018. He is also acting as advisory committees for various International Committees. He has almost 100 articles in various International journals. He has presented 30 Abstracts at various International conferences.
